  1. Re: Global NCAP zero stars for the 2019 Nissan NP300 Hardbody

Yes, correct, it was a 5 star until mid 2019 when VW removed
autonomous emergency braking from the options list. It still scores 81% for occupant safety.
  2. Re: Global NCAP zero stars for the 2019 Nissan NP300 Hardbody

VW UP is NCAP 5 star rated. Although, I really not prefer to be in crash with a NP300 when driving mine. Hopefully I'll bounce off.
  3. Re: Global NCAP zero stars for the 2019 Nissan NP300 Hardbody

All this would only be relevant if we could not get that new shape NP300 in South Africa. But we can: its called a Navara. So, we actually are spolied for choice: get an old shape new NP300 that...

Re: Rebuild Kit for 2.5td Turbo

Thanks, I've read some of his feedback. Must say, it looks like just fitting a recon unit will not be much more expensive and possibly even more cost effective.

    Rebuild Kit for 2.5td Turbo

Hi. I bought in a 2006 2.5td to transport bikes. The turbo is lightly sweating oil. No drips yet. Where would you look for a rebuild kit or should I try to get the bits from Ford? Any help and...

My wife's FJ is also surprisingly light. Runs to about 8.5 - 9 km/l. Absolutely standard.

    Re: Series 2a Speedo

So, today wasnt 45C in Upington, so I got going with the nut job. It was certainly not at 115nm and there was no spilt pin. While I was there, I decided to pull the output shaft seal and replace a...

Hi all. I have a 1964 Series 2A. I first had the wavy needle thing. I gave it to an independent, but got it back with no functioning speedo and was told to replace the unit.

    I ordered in a new...

Re: Trade my 3.0 D4D for a FJ Cruiser

I just bought a new one. The consumption is pretty much identical to the 2.5 Ranger I had before. The long top gear keeps the revs very low at cruising speed.
