    I used the HIKEIT throttle controller on my Disco 4 XS. Also a huge difference. The response is instant and cruising is a breeze. On a trip to Kgalighadi a week ago at 120 I was running at 10.8...

    Also have a D4 XS best car ever, not a minutes problem. Had it lifted 50mm, dual battery roof rack etc. All I would like is a spare wheel bracket. Spare wheels under the car are a pain.

    Glad there is a new one, the old one had a nail on the hinge of the loading flap. punctured my tyre while driving on, just my luck. I held things up a bit changing the wheel.

    Those were the days, 1985 I bought a diesel Hi Lux for R15000. No bells and whistles but farm bakkies came with a heater and windows.

    Your entry permit to Kgalighadi states that tyres must be deflated to 1.6 bar. At the fuel pump are two tyre gauges and lots of space to work.

    One of the rules of the Kgalighadi. I go down to 1.4.

    We do that road quite often, gets worse everytime. I have also been behind some one in 4x4 but with hard tyres. When confronted, arrogant as hell. Spoilt our visit.
