Re: Fracking in NE Namibia & western Botswana

Cool stuff if someone disagrees heís ignorant?

Look Iím fine with zero foreign investment in Africa, no skin off my back. It could go to a subsistence economy for all I care.

Re: Fracking in NE Namibia & western Botswana

Fracking is used as such an emotive word. Like hunting, all the bunny huggers jump at once. Like all things in life, ďit dependsĒ.

Hunting impala is fine. Hunting black rhino maybe not so much....

    Buying a Renault Duster.

Ok so the contact patch has stayed the same length and got wider, so has more area. The pressure and the load have remained the same. No wonder they keep those physics close to the chest.

    Re: Buying a Renault Duster.

Iím not sure I 100% understand this. Are you saying wider tyres increase rolling resistance. This then gives worse fuel consumption?

If so do you have any literature on this?

The wheelbase is very Australian in length, so will be a stable tow on long sand roads, but limited in really rough stuff if that is your thing. Nose weight could also be an issue
