    Cost yes.
    Generally fuses on DC works much better than circuit breakers, especially as the voltage increase.

    Looks like progress!!!

    Just a couple of things I see.
    1. Normally you would fuse both battery cables. Much easier doing it with a fuse holder.
    2. Inline fuses on your PV cables...

    @jcdup , what you describing in points 1 to 3 can only be done with a proper Hybrid invertor.
    To me the Goodwe G5048D-ES sounds like 100% what you need.

    The only Victron product that comes close...
