Thick-billed Weaver. This one is the male, guessing the lighter one is the female (they are speckled/mottled).

Stunning shot Cobus. A2A and A2G are two areas I would really love to get involved in.

What focal length range do you use for A2A shots?

Sticky: Re: Bird photo's for comment & crit

Yes, the camera's little flash will be useless for this. SB900/910 is the tool most use, but needs to be augmented with a fresnel lens (Better beamer type device).

    However, note that the setup...

    Lovely collection!

What the real pros do is to use a big flash. Udually with a "better beamer" or similar light modifier, preferably on an extended bracket to avoid "steeleye".

    But all this...

However, I use different equipment for the two. Because their props...

  25. Re: Can aftermarket diesel filter systems save pumps/injectors from bad fuel?

I firmly believe a good filter is the best way to deal with particulates.

But will it stop the emulsified agents? On the other hand, if something is small enough to pass through a decent filter...

That is correct Jelo, except for the starter motor, which is different (3 bolts instead of two, with a larger spigot and with the bolts spread more widely apart).

Not even nearly the same block. The TD42 is a dry-sleeve motor. The camshaft is gear driven, the oil pump is a twin-spur-gear type where the gears run in a recess in the block, and the oil system has...

None of the hi-lift type jacks are ideal for changing a wheel. They are recovery tools and are unstable by nature.

    Re: Tyre pressures

The more the tire flexes, the more the temperature will rise. This in turn is what causes the pressure to rise.

Basically, it follows the formula P1.V1/T1 = P2.V2/T2. And since the volume remains...
