Launch at the ski boat club. They have visitors launching there all the time.

    Enjoy your trip!

    Re: Small freshwater boat

We fished Sterkfontein dam again this weekend and the weather was foul.
My BIL's little Arrow Open did well but I sure would prefer something bigger for that place when the wind picks up:o.

    Pro's:
    - Boat and trailer fit into a normal garage.
    - Shallow draft. We can fish water...

Re: Bass on the fly near Johannesburg

If you have a boat you can fish the Vaal Barrage and Harties.
    No boat, try Cradle Moon.

There are plenty of small venues where they have bass in the dams.

    Hi Mike,

    Re: Trout Invasive Specie

    It's total BS!!!

Trout can survive in less than 1% of our waters. Bass on the other hand can survive in a longdrop toilet.
Trout mostly eat gogga's and only really large trout become piscavores....

Re: Off-road caravans, what am I missing here...

The bed in my old trailer was huge and far more comfortable than the one in our BL.

I also never used the ladder. Just slide off or hop on. The missus just used an ammo box to get onto the bed.
