    Re: Pajero Lexus 3UZ conversion.

    Ah...Madman, that makes sense now.
I will look into the converter to correct the technometer.

Was it a simple "plug and play"? Description makes it seen UNcomplicated.

Will I have any noticeable gains in fuel economy on a KJ, 2.8crd if one does a software remap? Best current fuel economy I've ever gotten out the old girl on the open road is 10L/100km.

This was an informative read. I've always wondered about the wind and subsequent fuel economy impact of these boxes, however it's clear it's negligible if one keeps to the speed limit.

    Sticky: Re: Towing Regulations

With my code 8 (Code B), I'm limited to towing 750kg.

Can I tow a vehicle on a piggy back (mobi jack) as they are rated under 750kg? The towing vehicle will be a Fortuner.

  12. Re: Question about registration of a vehicle - ridiculous!

I think if we try to find a loop in the system rather than adhere to the basics of the system, we will think the law makes no sense.

Re: New to the Jeep brand, 2.8 CRD LTD

My serpentine belt dilemma continues, and I'm lead to believe that one of the contributing factors is the alternator clutches.
Calex and Breno do not have stock. Any idea who I could try?
  14. Re: Question about registration of a vehicle - ridiculous!

The boys and girls in the motorhome groups will assist. The moment you convert your kombi to a camper, it potentially chamges the weight, thus the class. A Merc Sprinter becomes (potentially), a...
