Re: Why do you want to camp without electricity?

We could not get into KNP to camp.

Re: White deposit on negative terminal?

The whole idea of using a larger battery is to cover for the atrocious amount and length of outages of our electrical service providers.

Today we were down again for 18 hours.

    Thus I need to...

  16. Re: Teardrop Trailers/Caravans- Why are they not popular?

This is not strickly a tear drop. In fact it does not even look like a tear drop caravan.

Re: Rooftop Trailer Tent Setup Times

Seriously 1.5 hrs for that setup is fair.

We had a similar one and our tour of Bots was 2 -3 days per camp, and that is what we averaged.

    4 hours.

Stopped at Tsendze camp in KNP at 12h00 in 30 deg heat.

    Chose a position to park.

Opened a bottle of ice cold Amarula.

    Re: Bahati Caravan Park

    I concur.

We spent 3 nights there and used it as a base to explore the area.

Pity it rained 2 of the 3 nights but still recommend this place highly.

We will definitely stop over there again.
