Re: How to manage your fridge

I would recommend this cooler box:
    https://www.takealot.com/romer-coolerbox-65-litre/PLID41241671

Put all your perisable stuff in this one (fruits/vegs, eggs, cold drinks, etc) - it will remain...

Re: R350 000.00 What would you buy?

In today's economy and finances, I would follow the more sensible approach:

Buy a nice Jimny - it is a very capable little 4x4 and light on fuel. And you save the rest of money for kid's future...

    Re: Legend 50

Glad to see that the tablet is now more flush with the dashboard - was not a big fan of the previous design (feels just a gimmicky "aangeplakte poging").

May I add some more ideas for your future...

Re: Second Hand Double Cab Bakkie

By the way, I would also vote for the Isuzu in your list of choices. Solid truck.
Lots of my farm-family members and farm-friends drove Isuzu, or has one.
It is a real work-horse, long before...

Re: Second Hand Double Cab Bakkie

Out of curiousity, why only these brands? Why not consider other brands such as Toyota as well?

A quick look on AutoTrader gave me lots of 2011-models of Toyota DoubleCab 4x4 bakkies, all auto....

Awesome, thanks! Well visit them and test-ride their bikes.
I love my Giant e-MTB but will never pass over an opportunity to try out other brands :-)

Out of curiousity, where did you buy these BH bikes? And at what price?

Also, from what I have heard, these are Spanish-designed, and making quite a name for itself too. And its onboard display is...

Ford & Mazda Re: Ranger Wildtrack 2.0 10Spd

I think there is an article (test ride with bush wagon) about the new Ford Ranger 2.0lt (10spd) in the recent local magazine "Weg Sleep". Maybe check that out....

    Re: Why no Corollas?

It is all about the extras that comes with a Corolla. Lately there are other brands with better choices, oftentimes also cheaper as well.

My dad's Corolla was stolen - and completely picked apart....

Amen to that. The "me-time" one :-)

I have two different outdoor braai drums.
And family knows what happens if I prepare one over the other.

Re: This VW/Ford NON-SENSE regarding Amarok

    Absolutely agree with this.

I was a complete Toyota fan/supporter and all my vehicles was bought from the local Toyota dealer in my town (my dad as well). I was litterally on a first-name basis...

You have a very very good DAM (digital asset management) system in place.

For those who are curious, google DAM ;-)

    Re: Rubberised finish

Not clear from the photo which part of dashboard it is?

Rubberised is a form of molded plastic - not easy to treat it.

Have you consider giving the dashboard the whole leather-cover treatment...

    Re: Which Garmin GPS

Any Garmin Nuvi DriveSmart can do that, easily.

  22. Re: Color Coding - White canopy - Legend 50

  24. Re: Led lenser - crap product - crap after sales service

Saw this post and read it with interest. Strange that everyone got issues.

I bought a M14.1, T5.2 and H7 and all still working in perfect condition, about 9 years ago.

The M14 is the most used...

Re: Dust inside 2019 Toyota Hilux Bakkie

Nothing wrong with it - it is just a soft-cover version of a canopy, with just less height, and no means of safe-keeping posessions due to lack of security options. Unless one goes for a roller-cover...

    SuperCab to DoubleCap or not?

Re: Dust inside 2019 Toyota Hilux Bakkie

    R2 000!?! Why so much?
Also sounds they did not install it properly.

Should be around R350-450 for kit.
Pretty much easy to DIY too, with some slight effort here and there to trim it.
    Took me...

Re: Dust inside 2019 Toyota Hilux Bakkie

  31. Re: Ford Ranger Tourney Cover and Roll Bar or Canopy
