Re: CKGR - first time, some advice please

I would also opt for the Stockport / Parrís Halt border crossing.

We have never found fuel at Rakops, but maybe just bad timing.

Re: New shoes for my bus

I think that part of the puncture issue is that SWAMBO, who drives the bus daily, tends to cut the corner when turning left, which is easy to do in the bus. It's the left rear tyre that has picked up...

    New shoes for my bus

    I currently have Goodyear Wranglers on the bus - size 235/70/16. It's a T5 4Motion SWB.

We've had a run of punctures and last count there must be 10 plugs in the 4 tyres, including a couple of...

Re: Ford F250: Old model / New model / Not at all?

There's a guy here in Edenvale that imports parts for Ford F250s (and F100s) IIRC.

    http://craigary.co.za/

Ask for Gary and tell him Erin referred you.

Discovery 1 Re: Defender tire size

Too late for the OP, but I ran BFG KM2 265/75/16s on my 130, on wolf rims without any issues. Just found I had to run them at relatively high pressures on tar, to minimise the lateral 'rolling' of...

    Re: Altenative to RTT

I had a similar set-up on my Defender 130, but used caravan extrusion / rope rail extrusion to attach the tent to canopy, which I think might be easier than faffing with straps.

    Re: Cover-Worx seat covers.
