I see tyre prices have gone through the roof since Covid hit.

    Haval Resale value

If Iíd bought a Haval, Iíd fear the day Iíd have to flip it. But it goes to show that perceptions arenít always correct.

They are very well built units. Top quality.

    Haval Resale value

I heard an impressive story from one of my clients.

Heíd bought a H2 out of the box in Dec 2019 for R299k. He was always very happy with it & had no nonsense wrt ownership, reliability, perform,...

    Re: Which allround Softroader

Itís actually the other way around. The higher the traction, the higher the load on the transmission. With harder tyres it would just spin, be happier & not overheat.

    Re: Which allround Softroader

Youíre probably right. But the FL is still poor off-road.

They are too low & the TC system stops working when the gearbox get hot if put under load. So they can get stuck in silly places.

Re: Has the Wrangler bubble burst?

Back in 2012 the fuel only cost R11 per litre so using a JK as a daily was feasible for many. Now weíre at R17/L, so thereís likely to be fewer players, especially with the increased RSP.

Re: Fortuna handling - will they ever fix it?

Agreed. R800k is a lot to spend on a vehicle with handling deficits. The Ford seems more planted.
