    Maybe add Nissan X-Trail?

The 4x4 Fortuner is a great car. I have a few mates with them and they are great offroad. Especially with some mods. The D4D is a very good engine and simple to...

For the shroud I just used metal tabs in front to drop it slightly. Just enough so it doesn't make contact with the fan. Had to grind...

    Thanks.

No actually. They fit better with a slight gap between the frame and rock slider. I think that now if i really land on them hard the chance of them bending that much into the door is slim...

    Hi guys

Anybody recommend a mechanic that I can take my car to. I prefer smaller or private mechanics rather than big businesses, had bad experiences with these larger mechanical shops.

    The car...

    Re: 3.0 TDCi Ranger / BT50 EGR Blanking 2007-2011

This is a old post but relevant for me at the moment.

I am getting gasses in my cooling system. Saw a video on YouTube showing the exact issue I have, so before I go spending thousands on a head...

    Re: Body Lift

    Anybody wanting to know costs:

    25mm spacers: R70 each x 12 = R840
HT bolts, nuts and washers: R200 odd.

So around R1k to do it all of it. Still need to add in the additional costs to change...

    Re: Body Lift

    So the lift is in.

There were 12 mounts in total. Was pretty simple. I didn't drop the radiator as the mounts are welded to the body, I just dropped the shroud to prevent it fouling on the fan....

Re: Advice Request - Ford Courier / Ranger

No that would be a "T3" I think. First gen up to 2002. Then "T4" 2002 to 2006.

T5 is 2007 to 2011and know also as a PJ Ranger and face lift is a PK Ranger.

    Thanks mate.

I have a club cab. Was just watching a video on a PJ Ranger with a 50mm lift. It caused issues for his gear levers but that's to be expected with such a large lift.

    But 25mm...

Ya sometimes it used to actually shut down completely. The only way to turn it on would be to pull the plug out the back and leave it out for above 5min.
