Re: T4A on new Garmin Overlander

I have found on my Nuvi that I need to restart the device to implement the changed map option. Sometimes it is as if the memory still holds the previous selections. If that makes sense.

    Re: Ford Ranger build quality

Ek het dit al voorheen genoem maar ek dink die probleme het begin toe die bakkies se agter klappe nie meer met handvatsels die kante na mekaar toe getrek het nie. Nou is dit net deur tipe slotte om...

    Re: Garmin Drive 40 LM

I don't have this particular unit. However, as far as I know, most of the new units are compatible with Basecamp where you can plan your routes and then send it to the unit. T4A should also not be a...

    Re: T5 T6 Facelift?

Jy het 'n baie nice bakkie gekry. Die facelift modelle verskil hemelsbreed van die pre-facelift. Dit is nou wat die driving experience aanbetref. Of ten minste dit is my opinie/gevoel. Geniet...

    Re: T5 T6 Facelift?

Die eerste T6 het hier rondom 2012 uitgekom. Vroeg in 2016 het die T6 Facelift uitgekom. As jou bakkie die grooter vierkantige ligte het, is hy voor die facelift. As hy die smaller ligte het, is dit...

Re: Amarok is bakkie of the year - Leisure Wheels

I have read the full article in the March edition of LW. As with most comparative test, you will never satisfy everyone, especially if their vehicle does not come out tops. I don't think the way they...

  19. Re: Tentco Bundu Canopy- please post your pics/ setup/ tips

Yes, I also thought about a pole in the centre. But then you will need a short pole on the vehicle side, like on caravan tents. As you say, then it starts to take away some of the easy setting up.
  20. Re: Tentco Bundu Canopy- please post your pics/ setup/ tips

So if you can now add an eyelet to pull the top over the cross pole for the side you should get rid of the sag in the roof and stop the water from running down the inside of the side wall.
  21. Re: Tentco Bundu Canopy- please post your pics/ setup/ tips

I still want to add eyelids between the 2 side poles. Then I can use the cross poles, for the side awning, and tighten the top over the cross poles with a rope. This together with putting up the side...

The Tyre Guard monitor, that screws onto the valve, comes with a lock nut type thing to make it a bit more difficult to be accidentally re-allocated. This is held in place by 3 tiny allen key...

    Re: New Ranger 4x4 system

On my 2015 XL-PLUS (2.2), I also have TC. In my personal opinion, the TC is only "useful" in 2H and/or 4H while NOT doing serious 4x4'ing. I "played" a bit with it in the rain on the Robbers Pass...

  34. Re: Ford Ranger T6 transfer case seal no longer available

I was quoted R6.8k this week at my dealer. Apparently it is not just the seal. The seal comes as part of a flange.

Only read Morne's post now. Possibly what he was referring to.
