    I dont think the oil is crytical but if it was driven is whole life with non synthetic oil, mixing in a lower viscosity now might have some unintended consequences. What does the manufacturers state...

    Ja I think a 600W will be a bit weak to start a normal fridge. But for TV and mnet you can use a regular PC ups and add a bigger external battery. 850 Kva is sufficient

    Being in the windy city - perhaps investigate a small wind generator to charge batteries, and the good thing is they can work day and night time.

    Here where I live in Pretroria the wind is useless...

    Took the lorrie for a bit of a "spirited" drive after work to see if they messed up something but all seem good and the brakes seem to work well now and the rear drums not that hot after wards.
