    Re: Ineos Grenadier revealed!!

Dit is `n 8" diff. Hilux is light duty. Maar ek dink `n 8" Hilux front vat meer punch as `n Dana 44. Kyk maar daar is manne wat serious krag deur hul jaag. Miskien moet ons `n thread oor diff`s begin...

    Re: Ineos Grenadier revealed!!

Niks moet breek nie. Die enjin moet liewers dood trek. Ek glo nie in die weakest link teorie nie. Nie nice om `n 4x4 te recover op `n serious trip as die weakest link groet nie. Maar ons gaan nou OT....

    Re: Ineos Grenadier revealed!!

Broke a side shaft on a 60. The rest is on a heavy duty high pinion 44.
If you compare the Dana shafts to some Jap diff's they are frigging small

    Re: Ineos Grenadier revealed!!

Maybe better than Rover but definitely not the best or strongest out there. I regret my choice of Dana`s in the Yank ranger.
Three broken side shafts and a stripped pinion to date.

    Re: Land Cruiser 76 Services

Bought the 76 V8 30k km. Had to make a decision to keep the warranty and service at Toyota or service it my self. I choose to do the later. Service both the 76 and 79 myself. Cruisers are plain...

Re: What is the highest mileage on an Amarok so far?

I have frequently towed the boat and a few heavy trailers with the bus. Seems that could be the reason for the clutch giving up.
    Thanks Stephen.

Re: The new Hilux has arrived...

I am really not tied to a certain brand. If one look a the list of the 53 vehicles I have owned it includes at least one of the major brands. VW, Ford, Nissan, Toyota , Mercedes to name a few.

Re: The new Hilux has arrived...

Does not makes sense. You were in love with an Amarok. You get rid of it and buy a Hilux. Then you buy a Ford. Maybe I miss something, maybe you should have bought an Amarok again.

Re: What is the highest mileage on an Amarok so far?

The guys with the high km manual Amaroks are you still on the original clutch sets. My reason for asking is that the DM unit in the Volla bus were close to replacement at 125k km.

Jean you do get extended radius arms for the 70 Series. Moves the front axle slightly forward to prevent rubbing with 35`s.
I am not sure if they are available for the 105.
