Re: New member in need of advice

Yeah, my currently out of work commercial pilot friend tried to get rid of his two year old Hilux that was initially financed over 5 years. He couldn't get close to settlement after two years...

Re: Loss of power when towing WJ

I would first look at the fuel filter. You would be surprised how many times these are never replaced.

    Re: GV no power

Silly question: Did Suzuki ever replace the gearbox oil as part of normal servicing or do they also call it a "filled for life" unit?

  5. What are the rules for travel to Eswatini? Paging Karol?

Maybe Karol can chime in here. I desperately want to arrange a trip to Eswatini for some R&R. I have searched the web but most information is months old already so I have no idea about the...

Re: Arnott Air Bellows on FFRR L322

I bought my first set of Arnott bellows from Air Spring Supply company 10 years ago but they have stopped stocking them and referred me to Imcomex about 5 years ago. As you say Goldwagen also now...

    Suspension Re: ML500 2008 W164 Air Suspension

The tyreweld can absolutely get into the air line as it is a two way system connected to a valve block. Getting tyreweld into the airline and valve block will cause some very expensive damage....

Why would you want to do this? There is a really good chance you will ruin the system.

    Re: Mahindra vs Nissan Hardbody

The S6 comes standard with a service plan.

Don't be afraid to push for a discount. I bought my S6 for list but got the on-the-road fees, a towbar and tonneau cover included in the price.

    Re: Which Binoculars?

Without more information it is difficult to give an honest answer. At the same price point though I would almost certainly always go with Nikon over Bushnell from personal ownership experience.

    Re: Mahindra vs Nissan Hardbody

    Talking about the Mahindra S6 S/C 4x4:

    1) Realistically it depends on how fast you drive it. At 100KM/H expect up to 13KM/L, at 140KM/H expect 8.5KM/L
2)Is 4x4 with low range and Eaton self...

Yes, I have done it on both my vehicles.

  26. Re: MediaRelease: New-look Pik Up single cab S6 amplifies Mahindra value offering

The Scorpio Pik Up has had a rear differential lock since about 2014.

Mahindra fitted a VNT turbo to the engine as well. There are subtle differences between the models.
