    Canon 5D lens?

I am on the hunt for a lens for my 5D. Wide angle with a bit of zoom, something like a 24-105.

Anyone have something like this they are willing to part with? Needs to be full frame.

Re: Refurbishing mag rims - DIY

Yes, I have done it before and yes, is is HARD work!

Unfortunately I found that it was the clear coat that created the problem in the first place. Once moisture or salty air finds a pinprick chip...

Take the solenoid off and go to Midas. Ask them for a replacement. If they ask where it is from, plead ignorance. You don't know. Any sales assistant behind the counter worth his salary will take...

    Re: Wrangler Crank shaft sensor

That is on the end of the cam, so I would say Cam Position Sensor.

IIRC the cam position sensor is on the back of the motor, left hand side, below the exhaust manifold.

Mine has the removeable towbar, but no highlift points. It does have 2 recovery points/bridle eyes either side of the towbar though.
  10. Re: Touareg - dash lights up but engine doesn't swing

The best way to isolate the problem is to check whether you have power going to the starter when it doesn't want to swing. i.e. hook up a multimeter black probe to GND and red probe to the fat...

Not as far as I know. The smartpass cannot be used on its own. It is used in conjunction with a D250S.

I do speak under correction though.

Re: Positive or negative on duel battery set up?

If you don't have a multimeter, just use any 12v globe. Connect one terminal of the globe directly to the chassis, then connect one of the 2 wires you are questioning to the other globe terminal.

Re: Motorised jockey wheel for boat trailer

That will NOT move a 5.2M duck on a gravel surface! That wheel is far too small and will stand spinning in one place until the cows come home.
