Re: Baviaans in the winter - how cold?

There is a weather "station" at Studtis. Maybe you can get averages for the month you want to go?

Re: Why is the new Triton not more popular?

I've had similar experiences with other brands over a couple of years. From Toyota, Nissan, VW to the old "Delta".

What baffles the mind is that some salesmen have these attitudes in a very bad...
  5. Re: Real life comparison between Kb5 300 and DMax 250(HO)

    Thanks

Will most probably buy secondhand. Low kilo 3l's are very scarce and I will not remap.

So I will see by the time I have to make a move. I firmly believe, the right vehicle will appear...
  6. Real life comparison between Kb5 300 and DMax 250(HO)

Maybe I can get info from the forum

My 2011 KB 300 will need replacement within the next year or so.

Vehicle prices is becoming more and more crazy, making me to consider a 250 D Max, rather...

    Re: Mangaung Lockdown

We are okey up till now, except that we struggle to get supplies as our main suppliers are in the industrial area. (retail pharmacy)

Grocery stores ran out of certain supplies.

    Gatvol!

  9. Re: Ford very finnicky over petrol - 2nd engine replacement imminent.

But a good manufacturer should consider things like bad fuel when importing vehicles. Just as it would need to be imported with another aircon than those sold in Finland etc!?

That seems to be a good price - if it is well cared for. I've seen advertised on "Kamp Mal" for way more.

Re: Pajero feedback from current owners please :)

Owned a Gen 3 for eight years. Swambo's Gen 4 is on ten years. Very little went wrong on both. The latter needed bushels at 160k kms and that is about it! The most reliable vehicles we've ever owned...

    Re: Dealer Caravan Stock

Re: Why is the new Triton not more popular?

To me it is not the best looking bakkie on the market, but when I am in the market for a DC 4x4 again, it will be on my list as I will most probably get the best value for money (second hand)

  22. Re: Toyota Fortuner 2.4 GD6 4x4 AT vs Ford Everest Sport 2.0 XLT 4X4 AT

The Everest seems to be the better bet considering safety and power, but after 200k kms, the Fortuner is the better bet.
