    I would love to get one. The scroll saw does not work for hard thicker wood. No metal. So lots of limitations.

    440C is a air hardened steel. I use the compressor to force air while clamped in an old book press. others are oil hardened. The temp and soak times are different between different steels.

    Small grinder and smooth with flappy disks then finish off on belt grinder

    Grinds done. I released where the issue is with the grind lines not 100%. Applied a fix. Will test the effectiveness of the fix.

    Grind complete of the second skinner. 3hrs later and a similar grind on both sides.

    Just too many mistakes.
    The grind
    The etching. My logo not as u want it
    The scales too far forward making the customer name look as a after thought.
    The front of the scales not fitted 100%...

    Not happy with the results.
    Positive is that i can personalize the blade and the sheath. Someone will get a knife for free.

    I don't think u need a birth certificate if u have an id right?
    So my son 18 will only need id nd passport?

    What a struggle. Holes drilled and only one bit destroyed. The surface hardens in air. Tried to let it cool slowly but the skin harden nonetheless

    440C is a air harding steel. Im not sure what will work. Trying annealing might be the answer, just don't know how the steel will react

    Check almost no scale formed the one has slightly more than the other. Cus i allowed 5 minutes between the two

    Big mistake. Forgot to drill the holes. This is gonna be a mission
