    LC 79 interior rubberizing

Hi there, so spoke to someone about rubberizing the interior of my cruiser. This is basically what I was told: Inside is a bit complicated as the fumes will damage the inside and it won't be as neat...

  8. Re: Accurate blueprints and CNC machining/welding

Thanks that is a nice idea! I had thought of making a mold to work off but wasn't sure what material to use. Is that fibreglass resin you use? Could actually work really well to build off a mold......
  9. Re: Accurate blueprints and CNC machining/welding

Hi there, sorry I just have a few questions as I've never done something like this.

I've searched a quick image off the net that shows a piece of sheet metal that's been laser cut and welded. Now...

  11. Re: Accurate blueprints and CNC machining/welding

Thanks niclemaitre! I was actually thinking of doing a mockup of sorts with that soft wood board. The stuff that goes on the back of chest of drawers. It's like a spongy cardboard thing. But perhaps...

    Re: Back bumper collision

It's branded Desert Armour (from 4x4 Megaworld) but I believe it's the Gobi-X.

Other guy's damage came to R57k with R3k excess. His insurance appears to have paid me out R2,875. Then went for my...

  17. Re: Load bay sagging: air bags and suspension upgrades

  23. Re: Load bay sagging: air bags and suspension upgrades

Air bags seem fine but feel a bit messy. I don't really travel with excessive loads so I think what I...
