    Had the rear brake drums skimmed and the brake shoes re-lined at Norbrake and fitted them myself. Ended up being about R2k to R2,5k cheaper than what the dealers quoted during my last service.

    Not sure about the 3.2 but on the 2.5 the DPF bolts on to the turbo at the top and at the bottom it bolts on to the exhaust system with a flange. You will have to remove it and take it to somebody...

    ďSlingerĒ is the Afrikaans word for a crank / cranking handle. In this case I think itís your spring latch youíre referring to as it fits the look of a cranking handle in the first pic you posted....
