    Re: 2008 Outlander

That is a pretty large tyre diameter change for a Outlander....... 1.4 inches larger or 35mm. That will probably effect your acceleration, speedo and fuel consumption. You might even need to get the...

Re: What would you buy for R180 000?

Re: Fitting bigger tyres - whats okay/ not okay?

You won't notice a difference. It's 0.5 inch larger in diameter.

Check your GPS against your speed but you might find it reads more accurately.

Those are not recovery points. Do not use them. They are as described, tow hooks. If you snatch from them they will break.

    Re: Sand Recovery Tracks

I wonder if you cant add like small fat bolts (wide enough to not go through your tyre) or something to the tracks to replace your broken lugs? Like the new Maxtrax that have replaceable lugs.

I like those gear locks, reverse up to a wall and lock it in reverse. Again its just a deterrent but its better than nothing, if it makes it harder to steal they might think twice.

Re: The NOT so Tough Dog Shocks from OL

I had one of my Camil shocks leak and they shipped me a new one no questions asked. This was after around 2 - 3 months later.

I would have expected the same or better service from TD.

Re: The NOT so Tough Dog Shocks from OL

Were the shocks fitted before or after the springs. If it was after then the company who fitted them should have checked heights etc.

    Sounds like bull to me.....
