Enjoying where we are and what we have

This post is a combination of "It are Time", "Being positive", "Using your 4x4", or something like that, threads. I am so privileged to be alive, where I stay, and that I can take the "effort" to...
  5. Re: Ford Raptor sticker kits - to remove or not to remove ??

The real Raptor is by no means an understatement. However, I am glad that it is not over the top. Quite a few people will most likely not even recognise the the real thing if the see it. So the...

Re: Overlanding.. Do you really need a 4x4?

Regardless of the exact meaning of overlanding your 4x2 with diff lock can take you many beautiful places that you would not be able to get to in a normal platkar. As mentioned above planning and...

Re: Garmin Nuvi 310 - Keep or Toss

I see it can take a sd card for maps. So storage space for maps should not pose a problem. Theoretically there should be no reason why it will not work with T4A.

    Hi Tony,

Have you done the Old Rail Formation 4WD Trail from Van Reenen's side yet? Some stunning view from there also. At one point you also pass through an old tunnel,

MediaRelease: Re: JHB to DBN on Dirt Roads

It was an interesting thought, so I went and tried to plot a route using T4A. I think my route covers mostly gravel with maybe a section of tar to get you from one gravel road to the other. Looking...

    Re: T4A Tri Planning

Just a side note ; you can import a saved Google Earth file (KMZ/KML) directly into Basecamp. You don't need to convert it to GPX first. Similarly you can export KML directly from Basecamp to import...
