Nice - What about a bed of steel.

Please tell me about the perlite/cement mix. I am making a Hibachi braai and doing the same mix. Which cement did you use. I see some people use some "white"...

Re: Solar panel diodes and more.

Yes but - absolute worst case is 6A at 1V = 6W lost. Not a train smash, because even the best diode is also going to be up tp 3W lost.

So a difference of 3W then. That makes a difference of the...

Re: Camp fridge,105ah battery and solar?

Unfortunately, an old wifeís tale. While theoretically true, the losses part, in practice not so.

Parrallel will yield the same performance, and be automatically fault and shade tolerant.

Re: Electronics 101 on a trailer

OK, so by now you may get the idea.

    -----------------------

So let me try and help.

1/. Unless you have a very specific reason, a 3000W Inverter is not a good idea, especially on 12V. Lets...

Defender Re: TD5 Throttle Pedal Potentiometer

Be very very careful with a power supply. In a blink of an eye you can have an ďexĒ potentiometer or even power supply.

The meter in resistance mode is perfect and is in fact the same thing.

Unfortunately not, that was 2014. :(

    Two different fish those.

    One Candover, other opposite side.

This year I am targeting the Pongola River inlet and the Jozini Dam wall.

    My one's.

That year at Jozini I won first and second place.

We are fishing the Jozini Classic in October, can't wait.

Jozini doesn't have the giants like the Delta.

My motors are similar, but possibly a generation newer.

Oil level and temp sensors will only bring up an alarm, they wont cause the motor to fail to start or shut down completely.

Re: Camp fridge,105ah battery and solar?

I really like the idea of three 80W panels.

This gives you the freedom to optimize placement, ie slightly different angles so you arenít running around chasing the sun all day.

    Easier to pack...
