  1. Re: Filling station put paraffin in my car. What do I do?

Problem here is the amount of time that has gone by since the fill up, you will face the almost impossible task of proving that it is their fault.

Re: Cul-de-sac on the bottom Woody Cape Road?

There is more info somewhere on the forum, we looked into this many years ago. There is a dirt road that goes to Alexandria, but I cannot remember the status of that road.

    Re: Budget LED torches

Also bought some no names in from Aliexpress, the torches are brilliant (not rechargeable), but the switches are crap, they have all broken. It is a pity as the torches were really well made...

    Re: Rock Sliders and Bashplate

Those are not rock sliders, they are sidesteps and offers zero protection, proper rock sliders like Stofpad 4x4 products are chassis mounted and will protect you when your vehicle falls on it, and...
  7. Re: Help! Yamaha 70 not starting - electrical problem

Yes that is correct, pink for the temp alarm. We did unplug it to test, does not help, next check will be the microswitch, but if I am right you can disable that at the top.
  8. Re: Help! Yamaha 70 not starting - electrical problem

If I decoded the plate right, 1992.
  9. Re: Help! Yamaha 70 not starting - electrical problem

No, will need to find that one, according to the common wiring chart I have it should be the striped black/yellow one.
  10. Re: Help! Yamaha 70 not starting - electrical problem

Thanks that is something I did not think off! I should be able to disconnect that from the starter, busy reading the manual now.
  11. Re: Help! Yamaha 70 not starting - electrical problem

OK this gives me something more to do thanks.
  12. Re: Help! Yamaha 70 not starting - electrical problem

    Battery is new.
  13. Re: Help! Yamaha 70 not starting - electrical problem

Only aware of one fuse, checked and it is fine. Replaced the solenoid, no difference.
  14. Re: Help! Yamaha 70 not starting - electrical problem

Jumping the solenoid starts the engine fine, and it runs fine, this must be electrical or connectivity. (Turn the key and it is dead, no click from solenoid, nothing)
  15. Re: Help! Yamaha 70 not starting - electrical problem

    Oil is fine, almost full.
    Checked the fuses all fine.

Next thing to check is the actual key unit, I have a spare one to fit.
