Re: Lamb Potjie. Please share some ideas.

Some nice ideas here. My variation is that I don't use wine for the liquid anymore. I prefer using beer, especially a home brew - adds a much nicer taste than wine.

New or second hand? My wife has had hers for a year now with no problems whatsoever. The newer autoboxes (post March 2018) use different technology to the ones mentioned in this thread.

Engine off in all pics. Standard oil check procedure - pull dipstick, wipe, reinsert, take reading.

I live in their RB1s. Very comfortable, needs virtually no walking in. I have a pair of smooth soled boots for town and knobbly soled for hiking.

Another point to note is that Levaillant's is almost always found close to water. Rattling's call is also very distinctive: kiss-kiss-kiss

Ford & Mazda Re: Ford Ranger 2.2 Diesel, is it worth it.

I am more than happy with my 2.2 manual (2015 pre-facelift). Ryan Crocker found 3rd gear to be a bit lacking, but I find 3rd ok with 2nd a bit tired, especially when the engine is cold.

One of the easiest apps to use of those that I have tried is Distant Suns. The ease with which you can change date and time to see where the objects in the sky move to makes it worth the cost!
