    Re: June Brekkie Run

    It was a good day.

Found it a little worrying though that when I got there at 8:15, that everyone had already left.
Thankfully my friends were running a little late so I started with them.

    Was...

I'm on HT tyres too. There is a chicken run going up the mountain, so we can take that section.

    Re: Wire thickness for inverter.

Running a thicker cable will result in less heat and less resistance over the cable.
It won't hurt to put in a thicker cable at all.

    Nice video!

Looks like a lovely place to go play.

Question.... I'd like to go there soon, but my tyres won't like the rocky section (towards the end, I'd be worried about sidewall cuts for...

Re: Rhino vs ARB replacement bumpers

I had the same experience with the standard bullbar that Ford supplies (similar to the ARB).
The damage to the bakkie was minimal.

The other car howerver.... didn't look so good.

    Re: Long range tank "issues"

This. The measuring bit is on your actual fuel tank, so only once you start using from that tank, will it show the depleted level and provide you with the current tank's data.

    Re: Trailer delivery during lockdown

You'd require a permit for that very reason - sale of a vehicle/ trailer.
You'd then also require one to cross provinces if need be. Dropping it off on the "border" would require one of the two...

    Re: Trailer delivery during lockdown

So currently, there are limited reasons why we are allowed to be outside of our homes.
    1) Support and supply of essential services
    2) Shopping of essential products and so forth.

    I don't think...

Re: Interesting Ranger 3.2 vs 2.0 BTdi tow test

Depends if the torque curve is favourable for either vehicle at that rpm for the gearing.

Re: Interesting Ranger 3.2 vs 2.0 BTdi tow test

It can certainly be caused due to gearing.

Your torque curve sits at a specific place in terms of engine rpm.
If your gearing requires you to sit in a specific gear at a specific rpm and it isn't...
