    Re: Epic Zambia: 2019 Trip

Yes, I am sure they will be able to do it, but will try to charge you a lot for their PT.

    Re: Epic Zambia: 2019 Trip

Here are a couple of photos of the crossing, unfortunately, from a few years ago but doubt much has changed. Vehicle price is very reasonable and up on a board but we had to do a LOT of negotiations...

Re: Mana Pools or Gonarezhou NP?

We went to Mana and Gona last year, Gona for 1st time and Mana 2nd. We far preferred the "wilderness" experience at Gona and will definitely return there but will not rush back to Mana.

    I don't...

    Tuli Block trip report

In June spent a very enjoyable 5 nights in Tuli Block. We were virtually “forced” into the trip, as we wanted to take our 16yr old granddaughter on one of the wilderness trails in Kruger, but our...

Re: DSG gearbox service/repair in CT

I will have to check what it does in S mode as it is virtually never used, have not notice the jump in D as we use it more for changing down than up.

Re: DSG gearbox service/repair in CT

It is a 2010 model, but has only done 80,000kms. Gearbox oil and filter were changed at 50,000kms but that was in Jan 2016, so over 3 years ago already, maybe a starting point.

Re: DSG gearbox service/repair in CT

Francois, the gear change is not as smooth as it used to be. Occasionally, probably once or twice a day, there is a "hard" change, especially 2nd to 3rd, while the car is being driven gently.

    DSG gearbox service/repair in CT

Hi, any suggestions with regard to having an Audi A3 gearbox checked out in Cape Town, please? Agents claim there is nothing wrong but we don't share their opinion.

Re: Mana Pools - advice needed

We were there September last year, so the booking was probably done in Oct 2017. Due to Zimparks inefficiency, they did not process the 2nd booking, I did not get the discount on our stay in Hwange...

Re: Mana Pools - advice needed

I am battling to reconcile the invoice.

    Re: SWB still with it?

  22. Re: accommodation between Slaapstad and Botswana Border

Number of variables here, I presume you are doing the trip fairly soon as you talk about last minute booking, so days are relatively short, also donít know how many days you have to get to Thakadu.

    As an aside,...

If you want peace and quiet it is a good deal, however if you want reasonable ablutions with hot water then it fails. (We will be there in April for 2 nights again)

    Re: Two Rivers, Botswana

It is actually P4/day for vehicle,
    Park entry P20/p/day,
    Camping P30/p/day.
    So 2 people are P104/day.
