Grand Cherokee Re: 3.0 CRD WK Radiator Part Number

So filled up the reservoir, left cap off and opened the bleed valve on the bottom of the radiator. Nothing came out, even when I ran the motor for a minute or two.

It got worse after I put the new upper radiator hose on and empties the reservoir within a very short period of time.

Thanks for the link to the p/n :-)

Grand Cherokee Re: 3.0 CRD WK Radiator Part Number

Anyone know the part number for the radiator on the 2005 3.0 CRD WK?

Saw a leak at the top inlet hose radiator side, bought a new OEM pipe, fitted and it still leaks, so seems to be the radiator. ...

Grand Cherokee Re: 2005 WK 3.0 CRD Battery Light

He was very helpful. I am still thinking about getting it to him to assess whether it can be repaired or not, but apparently due to this unit using a D lin regulator, the chances are slim.

An update on sourcing the alternator:

ABEMidas - Could not be bothered to respond (as I suspected)
Diesel-Electric - Could not be bothered to respond

    Will do.

I have yet to find a Merc dealership that even bothers responding to queries related to the Jeep even though I usually premise the query by stating that it a Merc-sourced motor.

Grand Cherokee Re: 2005 WK 3.0 CRD Battery Light

Going to see if I can source locally before going the importing route. But pricing does not look too bad comparatively.

Went to Battery Centre to test and it turns out it is the alternator (battery tested ok).

Now we start trying to source one. Dealer pricing is an eye-watering R 16 494.02.........

Grand Cherokee 2005 WK 3.0 CRD Battery Light
