  1. Re: Amarok Oil Change - LiquiMoly Toptech 4600 - opinions

    4600 is 505 01
    4200 is 507 (but also complies with 505 01)

I believe you need 4200 and not 4600

Been running Liqui Moly in the road and race cars for years now and very happy with the oil.

Re: Looking for Aluminium Spigot Rings

This, the standard plastic spigots are perfectly suitable, its only job is to center the while during fitment, once wheels nuts are tight it does nothing.

really sorry to hear, but as you said that could have turned in a disaster very easily.

Sadly the Treg is probably a writeoff considering its value.

  14. Re: Time to deal with the DPF on my Treg + ECU remap

Re: AT on the back, HT on the front

you are looking for trouble running different types of tyres on the different axles. The different tyres will respond differently and can destabilize the car especially if you have to swerve.

    Re: Darkside Developments Amarok v6

I can only assume the R130k includes the labour for the R&D, cant see how the parts listed can come to that number.

Pretty impressive numbers still, that VAG 3.0 V6 TDI is a special engine.

Re: Touareg - newer V6 diesel vs older V8 diesel

Cant comment on off roading as I never really used mine for that. If you do a lot a towing then the air suspension is definitely worth it as it self levels the car regardless of the towing weight.
