    Re: Renault Duster

I've made several posts complaining about the short life span of the rear shocks on my 2015 Duster. Since mine was assembled in Colombia and yours in India these shocks must be part of the Complete...

    4x4 Alternatives?

I don't know if they are offered in South Africa. Here in Colombia there are three manufacturers that offer what appears to me to be a useless to barely useful gimmick. Fiat sells a front drive...

Thanks for that. Then the Duster is a bit more expensive there than in Colombia.

    Re: Renault Duster

I think, it looked like an egg.

I'm having trouble figuring this out in rands but but from Colombian pesos to US dollars a fully equipped Renault Duster 4x4 would cost $21,025.00 while the 4x4...

Do you get the Renault Koleos in South Africka? I am toying with upgrading to one. It has the same 4x4 system sourced from Nissan as the Duster but is bigger and cushier. Unlike the Duster assembled...

    Re: Renault Duster

@Clouder does it seem to project out less than the old style? Is it easy to get in and out with out dirtying pant leg after driving on muddy road? From your photo looks like it might be better.

    Re: Renault Duster

When I went to have a spare key made for my Duster it was quite expensive and the guy had to sit in my car and program it. Surprised me.

It amazes me if they have not redesigned that plastic sill as it has been criticized in many reviews of the Duster. My road is always muddy after rains and I have to be very careful to step out far...

@ Clouder with your new Duster it's hard to tell from the photos. Have they re designed the door sill so you don't get dirt on the back of your pant leg when you get out after driving a muddy road?...

Thank you Clouder, much appreciated! That is good news. Your comments about ride are music to my ears. Too bad introduction here is so far away. I will just have to bide my time.

Yes I should have seen that from the post above of the white one. That's great! What major changes or improvements does it have over the old one?...

The roof rails look like you'll have a longer span to place cross bars. That would be nice.

    New Renault Duster

This may be the next Duster and will come to Colombia about March 2020 I'm told. Not too different but has something weird behind the from fender. It may also be offered with a 1.3 turbo with 160 hp....

Thanks Butch. Actually a soft ride over rough unpaved road is paramount for me as I have to traverse that condition on a daily basis. I thought I read here a while back that the front and rear shocks...

    Rear Shocks

It's been pointed out on this forum before that the rear shocks are a weak point of the vehicle. Today while having the 80,000 kilometer (49,000 mile) service at Renault they told me the rear shocks...

    Renault Duster Oroch 4x4

I wonder if you have this model in South Africa. We have had the pickup for a couple of years but only this year have they offered it in a 4x4 version.
