    Re: Suzuki jimy 2021

The simple, although controversial answer - If you need a roof rack on a Jimny then you bought the wrong vehicle for what you want to use it for.

    Re: Suzuki Jimny Roof Ratings.

There cannot be a dynamic or static roof rating of just one figure in Kg because the force that will act against the mass in motion on the roof is relative to the force against the speed of the mass...

Re: 4Wd-27/7 Ute of the year!

The Jeep would not normally win, that statement is incorrect - The Jeep used in the USA test was the Jeep Gladiator (Double Cab UTE).

I think these Aussies did a great job with their practical...

  7. Re: March Difflock vs Traction Control brekkie Run

    Ummm...

Guys, it seems I started something exciting with a sense of 4X4 camaraderie in the air ie it is not a brand competition (Which is absolutely wonderful).

  11. Re: Interesting video about roof racks - Ronny Dahl

Very interesting topic. I watched the videos looked at the carry capacity ratings and the calculations, but I am afraid the calculations goes deeper than what is on the white board in the one video....

    Re: Hard ride on gravel

Tyre pressures and speed (Not speeding)

I would go lower that 2bar, perhaps 1.5bar. Try and drive at a speed where you go over the indentations and not through them, depending on the vehicle...

    Re: Jeep Wrangler JL Review.

Time for an update - During December/January I took the JL on a long road trip avoiding tar as much as possible. I ended up doing about 60%+ on gravel roads and the rest on tar.

The mileage is highly possible, I do not see a problem with that. From the pictures the vehicle seems to be in good shape. The previous owner must have looked after it, I see even the ashtray is...

Re: Summer rains, is this unusual or just a reset.

It is definitely not normal but they managed to track down the culprits. Apparently two Mexican guys are to blame, they go by the names of El Niņo and La Niņa.

Re: Buy a Jeep, they said...

This is not a question of mud driving and warranty voided but rather abuse of a vehicle by the owner.

It is simply stupid, no other words for it.

The ELM327 OBD2 scanner works very well if you use it with the right App. I use two, 1 for access to electronic dashboard gauges, etc and 2 for error codes:
