    I did try silicone but it did not stick on the rubber. But I never cleaned the rubber properly as suggested so that might be part of the problem.
    I also tried contact glue, which stuck to the rubber...

    I have replaced the rubber of my canopy back door, but cannot get it to stick properly and it keeps coming off.
    What glue would you suggest to stick the rubber to the painted metal of the canopy?

    Petri is cleaning while on a trip not going to be a huge mission with the holes in the tiles? You don't want to remove the tiles every time just to sweep out a bit of sand etc.
