  1. Re: Taking on the Ga -Ma Trails (By Invite) 23rd April to 1st May 2022

You've got it all wrong... When the petrol is flowing out of the tanks, that is just miles and miles of smiles. When it gets empty, brim 'em up, and rinse and repeat.
  2. Re: Breakfast Meeting at 3 Provinces 4x4 Adventure - January 2022

I'm going to drag, what feels like the first sunny day (today) in weeks, all the way with me until next weekend.

IF it don't follow, we sure are going to be putting the claim of waterproof seat...

  7. Re: Real world ownership feedback - Toyota LC200 V8 D4D (2014) - Nys, what have you d

On the 105, I calculated it on the return trip from when we collected it from Petri and then the Kgalagadi trip, haha, the other 10000kms are unaccounted for.

Leeubok, I might not agree with your super selective manner in which you choose your vehicles but am 100% behind what you have contributed to this thread and have seen in my experiences.

    Re: Viscous Fan clutch 1FZ-FE

I haven't found anything concrete about how stiff it should be when cold. Many varying opinions. I need to go see my mate some time soon and check his out and compare.

    Viscous Fan clutch 1FZ-FE

A quick one for the more knowledgeable and experienced forum members..

On the 105, it seems as if the fan spins too much and that the viscous fan clutch is always in a semi to fully engaged state....

    Re: R300 000 and a Legend 45

A 2/3 year old polo is R300k.... or you can get a new Vivo middle of the range for R270k, and after a week in one of those as a courtesy vehicle... all I can say is tin can!

    I wouldn't say 100%...

    Re: Pretoriuskop Camping

It is not too bad. Not an extremely large campsite so not very busy people wise. We sometimes end up there on our last minute trips and haven't experience the tents on the fence vibe.

It was an ongoing debate up in Balule.

I agreed with Dr Ian Player's sentiments, in that we cannot let them go silently. They needed to be spoken about and shown off. Speaking about them and...
