This is almost standard procedure on the TD5 with the added benefit of a slightly better throttle response.
The exhaust tone is also slightly enhanced.

I cannot see why it would not work on the...

Re: 2005 Defender - Amber light and JERK

I probably sound like a stuck record but check the ignition relay under your seat. I think 3rd yellow relay from the left.

Remove, twist each leg slightly and refit. It will give you an engine...

Re: 2005 Defender - Amber light and JERK

Or it might be as simple as the ignition relay which is making poor contact.

I think 3rd yellow relay from the left under the driver's seat. Remove the relay and give each leg a slight twist to...
  6. Re: Victron 15 amp Charger and High Cycle Battery

As far as I know it is just a normal and fast charging option. Both will work on a lead acid battery.

I would stick to the normal charge rate to prolong the battery life.
  7. Re: Finally a permanent Fix for one of the TDV6 Achilles heels

Yes, Toyota uses an overflow bottle which sucks coolant back when cooling down. Many other vehicles have a pressurised expansion bottle which should drop quickly in coolant level once a hose is lost....

Can you hear the viscous fan kick in when pulling away at a robot on a hot day? It will be fairly noisy en then drop off in speed as you start moving.
