Re: Riots in Potchefstroom - N12 closed

Travelling to Klerksdorp and beyond we never use the Potch road anymore.

Even while living on the East Rand we take the N14 to Ventersdorp and from there take the split N12 or N14. About 30km...

    We have bookings in Kgalagadi

  12. Re: New tendency: standing up while lane splitting

    OK I retract.

CoG is the wrong word. Weight is passed to the pegs and not the seat.

CoG has no effect in offroad on a bike. It is how you apply weight...

    Nee.
    Jy is verkeerd. Dink weer

Ons verwys hier na die geheel. Nie die lyf nie
  14. Re: New tendency: standing up while lane splitting

Much better control over a bike standing up. The CoG is then on the pegs and not saddle.
Also a means to stretch legs in motion.
One can also ride much slower standing up.
    And as said, see further...

    Re: magalies sleepy river

    Our experience was not good.

Nighttime intruder pinched stuff from campers.
Posters all over to lock valuables.
We will not go there again.

Rather consider Weavers Roost just up the road.

Compare the sound with that of a petrol golf cart. They are quite noisy.

Let him use the quad until complains come in. I doubt there will be any.

    Re: New Campworld in Brakpan

IIRC the Xplorer is a Jurgens product, and Jurgens only started up recently (again) with production.

Is that not perhaps the reason for the delay?

    1200GSA

A better choice if you can afford. The 800 is a stepping stone.

Do not imagine the 1200 too heavy. It is not. And when down much easier to pick up.

  30. Re: Sleep-ready caravans for going almost anywhere
