    Re: Land Cruiser 300 - 3.3L V6 diesel

so it’s fast in a pointless drag race. If I wanted to go drag racing on tar, this car wouldn’t even be on my radar.

I want to know what it’s torque curve looks like. How will it do fully loaded...

    Re: 79 DC 1HZ vs V6

I’m pretty sure it would last, but, if it does need redoing at that stage, it would be once retiring the car from work, amd it will become my personal bush truck, in which case, I would consider a...

    Re: 79 DC 1HZ vs V6

Seems as though the decision will be made based on stock availability more than anything else.

Will most likely end up with the V6, since there seems to be one or two available in the pipeline,...

    Re: 79 DC 1HZ vs V6

If you use a V8 as a game viewer, that spends its entire life “off-road” and hardly ever goes over 50km/h, means you probably way too much money, or something.

    Re: 79 DC 1HZ vs V6

the 1HZ will fpdefinately outlive pretty much anything else on the market right now. It is about as simple as they come. Not a single electronic control on that motor. As good as modern electrical...

    Re: 79 DC 1HZ vs V6

Ya, starting to think I must maybe just look for a 2 year old V8 diesel and call it a day. The other issue is then though, what is the long term lifespan of the V8. Is it still going to be usable at...

    Re: 79 DC 1HZ vs V6

    Re: 79 DC 1HZ vs V6
