    Someone further up this thread commented that I think post 2007 lead was no longer used in the solder

    So would lead make it more pliable and less prone to cracking / losing connection ?

    On the alu elbow that goes to the thermostat are two set's of temp sensors with wires attached. Many moons ago I had one of the set's of wires swapped around and the aircon wouldnt switch...

    Up that cut off to at least 24 v - 12 v each

    that charge you could up it a bit more but thats fine as is

    3k at 24 v is 120 amps - hope you not going to pull that too often from those...

    I have never been out to benguara with a ski boat but the water is shallow ( from 1M to maybe 3 or 4 M ) - crystal crystal clear as well - out to at least the two thirds mark
