    I battle to believe 10l/100, unless only driven down a mine shaft, but in 3 years, preventative maintinance excluded ( new water pump and belts, all fluids changed) our Touareg has cost me 3 services...

    We have the V8 petrol, because I prefer to pay my maintinance at the fuel pump.

    It is definately not a daily driver unless you have very deep pockets.

    For us as a holiday car, it's great.
