    No, you are not doff ;D, but there are many instances where the rivnut is preferred. I for instance have installed rivnuts in the floor of my loadbin. Installing the bolts to fasten a drawer system...

    If you can, insert a washer at the back, with the correct hole size. Often, you have to drill that yourself.

    We are from the same town, but I only mount them when going on a trip.
    If you are serious, I will mount them and you can have a look. I am close to Wilgers Hospital (should you throw the eggs :D)...
