Re: Moreleta spruit safety and security?

Friends of ours stay in Farnham road and on there side of Lynnwood Manor it is fairly quiet. But follow the advice above. Make sure your security facing the spruit is top notch.

    Re: Is this it?

Jakkals, I just checked my Defender Build but I can't find the small VW-look chrome hubcaps. Maybe available later? One can but hope.

    Re: Landcrusier Clutch Shudder

Surely the standard clutch should be up to the task? In standard form the 76 V8 barely makes more torque than the Hilux 2.8 (430NM vs 420NM).

For interest sake I just read that the Ford F-350...

    Re: Pajero Sport Thread

Manufacturers normally recommend 80,000 km. My Pajero felt okay until the one original shock started leaking with 270,000 on the clock. Strangely enough my Toyota's one shock also started leaking...

Re: Amarok is bakkie of the year - Leisure Wheels

I have to agree with you there Kurt. If you look at the previous test done by the Aussies it is a different story all together.

I would also like to know how the part prices were quoted on the...

Also thought as much. Not the most elegant solution to a problem and taking the wheel off is going to take a while.

    Re: I don't like NP300

That is a brilliant price if you look at what we are being charged. Apart from the aircon the rest aren't really essential items.

Re: Amarok is bakkie of the year - Leisure Wheels

If the two scores of the judges, that might be biased, are left out of the equation and only the measured results are taken into account it looks slightly different.

Re: Mercedes GL350 an alternative to Hilux??

Just this morning I saw a GL350 with a decent set of A/T. The vehicle was two lanes from me so I do not know what he fitted, but it surely is possible.
  11. Re: 2005 Pajero 3.2 DiD Auto Box selector problem

After a minor bumper bashing with my Pajero I was also told 6 to 8 weeks for a replacement bumper. Less than a week later the panelbeater phoned to say he received the part. Brand new, OEM.

    There...

Re: Why do tree fellars use cruisers?

Maybe that's where the money is! Mine in Pretoria has been using the same Peugeot 404 bakkie for the past 16 years.

Mind you I haven't seen any Cruisers in that line of business here.

    Re: Aspw lc79 300

The difference in trackwidth on the Cruiser is very prominent. They always look like they are crabbing down the road when viewed at a certain angle from the rear.

    Mind you the Mahindra bakkies...

    Re: 2015 Steed 6 2.0 VGT 2x4 Excape info

I can't say it is a bad buy, but I would definitely negotiate a bit. Looks decent enough.

Re: The causes of flat spots on tyres?

Tyres should be rotated every 10000km at least but in some cases it does not help.

My Toyota's first set only lasted 30000km before they became so noisy I had to replace them. I believe it is a...
