    Enjoy, you now need to get out and use the lens to get used to it.
    Try it out in the garden before you go out for the real thing and yes do use that centre column!

    That converters are maybe a waste of time and although the 200-500 can take one you will definitely loose sharpness and at that distance you would need a decent tripod & head.

    I have that very same drop in filter, used it once and then never again, dont actually know why I did not use it. Think it had to do with the 200-400mm not enjoying the D300s and I actually forgot...

    Remember the eye, you got to get the eye. Set-up the D750 properly, use back focus and shoot manual, using auto ISO...

    Over the 19/20 years of living and working North of the Zambezi, I have never had an issue with meat, veggies and or the stronger stuff.
    Just pack carefully and keep the strong stuff out of sight.

    YF is not required by Zambia thus no need to get it unless you are planning to travel further North, but always good to have it updated in any case

    I have not heard of the new WHO ruling that YF...

    Jong ek hou baie van daai D500 maar gebruik beide elke naweek. Ek het die lang lens op die D500 gehad en n makro op die D850.
    Die voel was onder n frangipani plant gewees met skadu's oor so ek moes...
