Very comfortable.
The most important question is : how much do you have to spend??
Gamakatsu trebles work very well;D
Quite a bit but mainly decent Durban sand, get an underseal of sorts - things rust:)
The AT22's are not that bad but very road biased, I changed to Adventure AT and no complaints - very good all round tyre and the dirt road grip and braking is superb!!
Also looking at getting a...
Ethekwini Gas - 031 5794911 or 031 5784912
Just called the Newlands West branch and they have a 1.7
A mate bought one a few months back so I'll try go past the gas shop later and see if they still have them.
EDIT: just phoned them and they only have the 2kg and up and mine was a 1.7 not 1.3.
I have a 1.3kg Totai cylinder, the same size as the small Cadac but they don't make the Cadac anymore.
Went in an UBER Etios with 333k kms, only the clutch done at 250k but the thing felt really nobbed!!
The Ford Ranger is also the Euro bakkie of the year;)
...... on the market now?
That is high, my FJ should get close to that!!
A game viewer it isn't:)
No you went the right route....IMO steel sheet is NOT the best option:) The biggest drawback with composite is the cost (unless you are buying big quantities....or live in the US;))
My suggestion to viper for his nano teardrop was composite........
I have a Jetstream and a friend I have has been toying with the idea of building a teardrop - sticking to the basic dimensions of...
I think the 1.9 will be in the flagship model?
1.9 diesel is going to be interesting:)
I would go Toyota 2.4 GD6 or the Isuzu KB250 but I think next year Isuzu's new 1.9 is going to be a winner.
LoL......The public are the ones that create mass panic, the authorities were 100% right in issuing that warning without doubt.......were you in Durban for any of the last few years localized...
Yes, predicted storm missed us but its not over hyped, IMO they are rightfully erring on the side of caution........there have been quite a few drownings in the last few days from this weather system...
I saw what I see every day, without fail...........a whole lot of impatient dangerous clowns:mad:
IMO apart from the nicer ride in the 2.2 Everest the 2.4 Fortuner is better in everything else, spend a bit more and have less worries I say!!;)
With the FJ the CC is better in slow offroad work than just lowrange and RDL - its noisy but brillant:)
Its useless in sand and thick mud though!!
Boat launching......be careful!
Agree, I have never displayed a disc on any of my trailers for over 20 years, never had a problem.
Plenty on Gumtree or you can have mine for R370k;D
No pics but it's a GX.
Thanks, I am helping a lady friend whose husband passed away so trying to get a fair price, my thinking is that if wbc's offer is stupid then I could try and sell it privately for her or possibly buy...
Bear in mind that this is a 90 not a 120?
We buy cars is offering 65 I think?
Imo FCA is a crap heap, so it may be a blessing ::)
Any indication of what a 2001 Prado should sell for?
330k kms and the KZTE head was replaced with an AMC head about 5000kms ago, very good condition.
I think this debate was put to bed some time ago - the chassis is different.
I have seen quite a few vans (my Jetstream included) with female shore power couplers, for obvious reasons this should be a male plug!!
I bet a sharp tug will pop the plastic clips out.
