    Yes exactly, just buy premix, like the Wurth, Total, Toyota red etc.

    You never need to touch water when a cooling system is concerned.

    Here it's common for young rich guys to pimp a Ranger, Hilux, Navara ,D-max etc with shiny alloys, low profile tyres, silly sound system etc.

    I know of a couple of cases of people who used NON OME ball joints and they broke again, Catastrophic failure, luckily at low speed. One guy pulling out of a garage. Bent wheel, car cannot be moved....

    Definitely Toyota ball joints, but tie rod ends, steering rack ends etc you can buy quality non OME parts.

    Also shocks. Gabriel safari are cheap and longlasting for that model.

    I really hope it survives, it's not often that you see a vehicle built like this, from the ground up, getting the basics right.

    It's almost like someone's private build, but on an industrial scale.

    Yes, I am thinking more modern and comfortable but with less electronics compared to the modern SUVs. Also better built than the old defender.

    this is what I would do:

    1) Before you even remove the sump and mesh/filter, drain all the old ATF that's in the sump. If you had the correct amount in there you should have about 4.5L...

    I disagree in the sense that I believe your statement is true if you compare today's vehicles to those that were around in the 70s and 80s.
