    Re: Rent a skip

Best would be to phone a few rental places and check it out.

Iíve been wanting to do the same thing but I donít want to have all my junk lying out on the driveway for a few weeks.
  2. Re: Looking for fold up solar panels for camping

The HCDP unit has a 180W solar charge controller so you canít go larger than that.

Someone is selling a fold up solar panel here in the classifieds, R2000 for 120W

Re: Jeep spares cost increased three fold!

Mitsubishi appear to have done something similar for 2020. A very small clip I used to buy for R17.30 is now R30. That was December 2019 versus January 2020, according to my records

Mike, contact Planet Electronics and ask them what they have. They do a lot of different models and can install for you too.

Grips, that was epic and a real adventure!!!!

Road to hell is not for the feint hearted.... especially if there is a snapped side shaft on a vehicle at the bottom of the pass.

Re: Amarok is bakkie of the year - Leisure Wheels

I can believe that. I have found that Mitsubishi parts in 2020 have increased by at least 50%, from what I have seen.

These tests prove absolutely nothing. They are only done to boost magazine sales, nothing else.

Re: Which new Tyres for LC 200 VX

Hankook Dynapro ATM has a very thin sidewall, that one would be one of my last options.

The 120 load index option looks good and the Michelin is a quality tyre.

Go onto YouTube and find the Andrew St. Pierre White episodes where he rebuilds a 105 in Cape Town. He uses mostly Terrain Tamer parts and they look damn good. He had the work done at Snymans.
