I cannot comment on the warranty, but I have Stofpad rocksliders on mine and I cannot be happier.Quote:

I'm done some research and allot of rock slider seem to be flush with the body I'm looking for something that works as a step aswel

The Stofpad slider sticks out just enough to be used as a step as well. I will post a pic for you later.Quote:

On a Amarok the underside of the body sill is more or less at the same level as the underside of the chassis - so the slider bracket has to pass underneath that - a 20mm high bracket won't carry the weight - it has to be high enough for sufficient strength.

I have a set of Seikel rock sliders (Silver) currently on my V6 - as new. (Never been off-road, just over 5 months on my vehicle now)
I am considering swopping them out for a set of Amarok Extreme side steps, in similar condition. (as I doubt I am ever going to use these for the purpose they was made for)
