Dag 1 Vrydag
Ons het die vorige dag klaar gepak en die aand net na 20:00 gaan slaap maar ek was alweer vanaf 00:30 af wakker te opgewonde om verder te slaap. Hier by 02:00 die oggend maak ek my vrou, Angelique, wakker en se ons kan maar regmaak om te ry.
Ons vertrek om 02:30 uit PE. Ek ry maar tot by Graaff Reinet al die pad so 100-110kmh omdat dit donker is en koedoe wereld is. By Graaff Reinet maak ons vol en leeg en Angelique koop vir ons twee groot Bar-Ones. Na Graaff Reinet oppad Murraysburg toe raak die wereld al mooier met die berge en son wat opkom oor die koppies. Die pad is ook mooi oop en dis dag so die cruise control word ingestel op 120km/h en die Wolf loop lekker in die vars oggend lug.
Die temperatuur het tot 4 grade gedaal. Ons stop by Victoria Wes vir ontbyt en kry die Heaven and Earth restaurantjie oop en eet heerlike spek en eiers.
Twee jaar gelede toe ons die suide van Namibie getoer het het ons Prieska om gery en ek dink toe om die ander pad oor Loxton waar ek nog nie was nie te vat. Die pad is teer tot in Carnavon en daarna is dit omtrent 230km lange medium kwaliteit grondpad tot waar mens so 70km duskant Keimoes weer teer tref. Dit was mooi om Loxton te sien en op die lang grondpad het ons mooi bokkies afgeneem maar ek sal in die toekoms weer eerder oor Prieska ry.
In Kakemas koop ons toe die lekkerste biltong en droe wors by bakgat biltong deli. By Augrabies aangekom kry ons maklik plek in die lee kampeer terrein en slaan vinnig tent op waarna ons gaan swem het. Toe stap ons na die twin falls en arrow point wat soos altyd pragtig is. Daarna gaan eet ons die kalahari snitzel in die restaurant en maak n draai by die beligte waterval en toe kruip ons omtrent so teen 21:00 in die rooftop tent. Wat n wonderlike dag!

Day 1 Friday (google translate - quite funny)

The road is tarred to Carnarvon, then it is almost 230km long medium quality gravel road to where you look beyond 70km Keimoes weather tar found. It was nice to see Loxton and the long road we have beautiful kids decreased but I'll ride again in future rather about Prieska.
In Kakemas buy us the best biltong and dry wors at bakgat biltong deli. Augrabies arrived we get convenient location in the lee camp site and throbs tent which we went swimming. We walk to the twin falls and arrow point that as always is beautiful. Then go have the Kalahari snitzel in the restaurant and make a turn at the illuminated waterfall and we crept about as at 21:00 in the rooftop tent. What a wonderful day!
