Default Helderberg 4x4

I want to go for a quicky on a Saturday morning close by and some picinicking with the family.
Found the Helderberg Farm 4x4 route and phoned.
Wimpie (the manager) says it's not and easy route and not recomended for beginners like me.

I've done a beginners course at AD and did some not-so-difficult off roading, but we're lus for a bit of a challenge. My cousin and his Hilux 4x4 will also be there and he has the same experience as me.

Any done this route?
Your opinion please.
Any other suggestions near the Helderberg area?

It's not a difficult route at all -no reason why you should not go and enjoy. The views from the top are brilliant!

There is a bit of weather expected this weekend. Ok a lot of weather. If this happens this trail becomes a snake in the wet.
