Default Airport CT

I was at the Cape Town Internationl Airport again for some stuff and i am really proud of this place now. There are stacks of booking in terminals no waiting, lots of people with info and the biggest Spur in Africa with the smallest steaks. London Heathrow is the pits compared to our airport. The place is clean with lots of exciting top class shops. This gives us a good impression. Even most of the staff working there seem to be proud of this achievement .The carports is a bit chaotic but one understands that they are still building.
The big improvements on our roads as well make us a great hosting City for the world cup.

looks like all is starting to take shape and i am still a proud Capetonion despite a few problems.

I just ask the local retailers not to rip us off during the world cup. I cant stomach paying R25-00 for a can of coke even if it has a FIFA sticker on.

Having just been through CT airport flying back to US I must admit it is great improvement and once the parking is sorted out will be much better still. The passport control was just a big pain point. Long line with the grand total of 1 official.

When last have you been to the revamped terminal 5 at Heathrow?
