Windhoek-Johannesburg

I will be making a 2 day run from windhoek to johannesburg. Any good camping or lodges I can reach on the first day and then finish the drive to Johannesburg the next day?

If it was me, I would sleep over in Kang at Kalahari Sands. Nice allmost halfway stop over. That is if you intent to go through Buitepos and Lobatse on the Trans Kalahari Highway.

It is Kalahari Rest - 15 km before Kang coming from Buitepos.
We stayed there a few times. Very nice.
